The PositionAn opportunity has become available for an Accounts Payable Officer to commence in a full-time temporary assignment. This is based in the inner northern suburbs with parking available and you can commence as soon as possible.As the successful candidate you will report to the Accounts Supervisor and perform such duties as expense management, invoicing, data entry, reconciliations, payment processing and managing general queries. Key ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities will include, however are not limited to: Processing a high-volume of invoices and credit notes; Expense management for leases, rent, etc; Account reconciliations; Gaining necessary approvals for payment of invoices; Resolving queries via email and phone; Ad hoc accounts support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the accounts team. Skills and Experience: Demonstrated experience in accounts payable; Ability to work autonomously and show accountability; Demonstrate the ability to build strong professional relationships; Effective and adaptive communication skills; Computer literacy in all Microsoft office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP systems. The CompanyOur client is a growing SME with the backing of a large PE firm. Buoyed by strong recent results and a unique business model, this is a really exciting time to join a company on the rise!The Role Reporting to the CFO, this person will play a crucial role in a number of aspects including but limited to: Support project management for the Core ERP system in 2025. Create dashboards and reports in PowerBI to help non-finance staff understand complex financial data through visualisations. Work with the FP&A team and other finance units to determine key reporting needs. Gather and analyse financial and non-financial data from different systems while ensuring data accuracy and security. Help develop a finance data management framework with support from IT, Sustainability, and Risk teams. Revise accounting documents and processes for intercompany costs, management fees, revenue, CAPEX, and retail accounting. Assist in designing the Chart of Accounts and configuring systems. Help maintain a knowledge base for business systems, including reports and process documentation. Support PMO tasks for transformation projects. Assist in developing and managing project plans, collaborating with stakeholders. Help create detailed FP&A test cases to improve the user acceptance testing (UAT) process. Prepare for data migration by reviewing and cleaning data as needed. The Candidate The successful candidate will be CA/CPA qualified and have experience as a senior finance professional, with a proven track record of involvement in an ERP implementation (preferably NetSuite). Power BI and FP&A reporting experience are critical. The candidate will have proven leadership experience, a strong desire to succeed, and a willingness to partner with both internal and external stakeholders to support the company's growth agenda.
