Role Overview:As Payroll Officer your position will have a strong customer service focus, along with primarily assisting in the processing of payroll. Key Responsibilities:Processing of payment to employees and all associated administrative tasks based on Present a professional image, ensuring strict confidentiality is maintained at all times.Be accountable for own performance and seek to expand personal skill levels Processing of payments to employees and all associated administrative tasks based on EA's, Fair work Act and company policies and processes. Manage payroll data entry, including new hires, terminations, and changes to employee details. Calculate and process leave entitlements, overtime, and deductions. Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring all information is accurate and confidential. Respond to payroll inquiries from employees, providing exceptional service and resolving any issues promptly. Prepare and submit payroll reports as required, including tax and superannuation contributions. Assist with end-of-year processes, including preparation of annual tax summaries and compliance with relevant regulations. Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of payroll systems, relevant legislation, and best practices. Proficiency in payroll software Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
