Here in Australia, the organisation has a number of business interests in the agricultural space focusing on the production, manufacture, transportation and sale of commodity ingredients products both in Australia and internationally. Sharp & Carter has been exclusively engaged by this international organisation in their search for a Finance Business Partner to join their high performing finance team based in the western fringes of the CBD. The RoleReporting directly to the FP&A Manager, the primary purpose of your role will be to provide accurate finance analysis and corporate reporting to key internal stakeholders within the organisation. As such, your duties will include, but not be limited to: Set up the monthly sales commentary reports and provide the (sales to contribution) analysis and commentary to senior stakeholders Review the month end results with the channel managers and provide commentary on material variances against budget Prepare and distribute the various monthly financial/business reports/slides including the group financial pack to the various stakeholders Complete the monthly rebate and promotions balance sheet reconciliations and work with Sales to review and clear any ageing accruals Complete the monthly sales forecast and analysis in a timely manner and communicate the key insights to the relevant stakeholders Assist the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager / Financial Controller with ad hoc tasks Design and coordinate the budget pack/model and other budget submissions for the organisation Review and analyse the actual and budget sales information with the Channel Managers to ensure it’s reliable and it is aligned with the Sales strategy. Continual improvement and margin impact management of the forecast model for the business Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified in an accounting or business degree with full completion of their CPA or CA qualification (international equivalent qualifications such as ACCA or ACA also accepted). You will have prior working with FMCG or manufacturing environments as well as proven experience partnering with divisions outside of finance such as Sales, Operations, Supply Chain. Exceptional communication skills, with proven ability to demonstrate initiative and have good attention to detail are essential.
