The OrganisationOur client is an industry leading organisation in Australia and are a leader in their industry. It is a busy environment with multiple payrolls and many complex awards/internal EBA's. They are looking for a strong Payroll professional who is experienced in projects and passionate about continuous improvement and delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesReporting into the Head of People Services, the role will involve taking leadership of the Payroll team with key tasks involving: Take ownership of end-to-end payroll improvement projects, from concept toimplementation. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuringalignment with organizational goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (P&C, Finance, IT, Operations) to gather requirements, define project scope, and manage execution. Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery on time and within budget. Track project progress, create status reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders and leadership. Partner with system administrators and vendors to resolve issues andoptimize performance. Provide insights into system capabilities to enhance payroll operations. Candidate ProfileThe successful applicant will have proven payroll project management experience in complex environments; Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional payroll or timekeeping related projects. Experience with Time and Attendance systems, and Payroll systems - Chris21/Kronos Strong project management and planning skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously. Stakeholder Management Skills - To partner with internal + external partners A passion for payroll customer experience and continuous improvement mindset.
