You will assist the Finance Manager and be responsible for financial accounting functions including but not limited to:
- Review, investigate and monitor monthly financial information including:
- Revenue recognition
- Payroll
- Monthly accruals
- Depreciation
- Balance sheet accounts
- Liaise with key month-end stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information
- Prepare monthly reports and commentary for senior management and the Board
- Ensure compliance with all Statutory requirements
- Coordinate and ensure monthly completion of Balance Sheets reconciliation
- Resolve issues with data integrity and processing efficiencies
- Identify opportunities for process and system improvement, recommend remedies to the Finance Manager and support the implementation of approved initiatives
- Ad-hoc reporting
To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
- CA or CPA qualification or near completion
- A strong technical accounting foundation, ideally gained through public practice or a commercial environment.
- Proven experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance.
- Advanced Excel skills and exposure to ERP systems
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with internal stakeholders.
