About the Opportunity?As the Finance Business Partner, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between Finance and IT functions. This role involves providing financial insights, strategic analysis, and decision support for IT initiatives and projects. You will collaborate with IT and Project Management teams to ensure financial planning, budgeting, and performance align with organizational goals, driving value for the business. Key Responsibilities Include: Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager...key responsibilities for the role include; Manage the budget and forecast process for the area of responsibility. Critically analyse for completeness and accuracy. Provide training to relevant areas, as required. Ensure stakeholders are fully engaged in the end-to-end process. Develop, manage and update a range of driver- based models for the budgeting and forecasting process. Continually improve the forecast/budget methodology Represent Finance and provide financial support relating to Technology projects, building capital works projects and other capital related projects. Use appropriate decision support tools to assist in appraising new initiatives. Ensuring all financial impacts are understood including return on investment and cash flow. Act as a catalyst in driving forward initiatives critical to delivering strategy including promoting awareness of organisational financial control objectives, reporting requirements, and financial sustainability goals The successful applicant will have experience with some or all of the below CA and/or CPA and/or ACA and/or ACCA certification already attained. Bachelor’s degree – Finance or Accounting. CPA or other recognised finance or business qualification. • Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related business field. Superior Excel, analysis and modelling skills. Use of Microsoft Dynamics Fin OP365 (financial system) and Workday Adaptive Planning (Budgeting, Forecasting and Reporting system) are desirable..
