About the role: A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant on an immediate notice has arisen within a software consultancy. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely completion of month end tasks, and maintaining accurate and compliant financial records. This is a great opportunity for a Financial Accountant who can work autonomously and is looking to take the next step in their career. Key Responsibilities: Manage month-end, half-year, and full-year reporting requirements. Oversee the APAC vendor program, this includes; report preparation, coding for the AR team, and journal entry posting. Support the AU & NZ P&L reviews, including preparation of account reconciliations, and template updates. Assist with SOX testing documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls. Manage APAC Global Program, including clearing, posting review, and preparation of global P&L reports. Assist with AU month-end close tasks such as reconciliations, and other financial processes. Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and advising on transactions. Oversee APAC intercompany reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset reconciliations, including depreciation posting and cross-checking. Requirements: SAP Experience is essential for this role. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field Experience as a Financial Accountant / or a Senior Financial Accountant . At least 5 years of experience in a Financial Accountant role. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
