Monitor and interpret cost behaviours across production and logistics, identifying patterns and recommending practical ways to enhance efficiency and reduce spend. Play a key role in preparing financial models and business cases to evaluate the impact of improvement projects. Deliver insightful analysis and financial narratives to support strategic planning and highlight areas for performance uplift. Take part in month-end close activities, including variance analysis, forecasts, and risk reviews, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Assist with broader national finance processes by contributing to raw material costing reviews, overhead allocations, and margin tracking.      Skills and Experience: A degree in Accounting or equivalent. CA or CPA qualifications (or working towards). 3 years of experience in working within the manufacturing with inventory and standard costing is a must. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to influence key stakeholders. Strong understanding of costing, inventory, and financial controls. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations, driving efficiencies, and supporting business growth.     Key Responsibilities: Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Managing the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Overseeing stock take procedures and ensuring inventory accuracy. Supporting audit requirements, including SOX compliance and liaising with external auditors. Supporting audit and tax reporting requirements.
