In a vital leadership role, our client is looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to take ownership of the payroll function to oversee and enhance operations. This role will be an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll professional looking for their next challenge closer to home! Job DutiesReporting into the CFO, the role will involve taking taking ownership of payroll, with key tasks involving: Develop, mentor and lead one Payroll Officer Manage end-to-end payroll processes with accuracy and efficiency Manage and oversee weekly pay cycles nationally for 500+ employees Develop and strive for process improvement to improve efficiency Accurately interpret and apply various EBAs, ensuring compliance and precision Reconciliation of payroll accounts and reporting as required Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and award interpretations Relevant reporting duties Upholding high customer service standards and protocols across the business Partner and develop strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders Candidate ProfileThe successful applicant will have proven leadership experience in a similar Payroll Manager position along with the following skills and attributes: Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills with a proven ability to positive influence Excellent communication skills both written and verbal The ability to interpret numerous awards and EBAs Comprehensive knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and tax regulations Strong analytical skills with a forward thinking & solution focused mindset Excellent stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to positive influence Keen desire to lead, mentor and develop staff to positively enhance skills and performance What's on Offer Attractive remuneration | $130,000 - $145,000 + super (negotiable dependent on experience) Office located close to home in Melbourne's North-West pocked with onsite parting Job security in a permanent role Excellent career development opportunity working within a finance team that values innovation and excellence Play avital role in leading a close knit team whereby you can mentor and positively influence employees To apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
