An opportunity has become available for an Accounts Officer to support the CFO of a highly reputable property management business. This role is based in Kangaroo Point, Brisbane, and is a permanent full-time role.
This role allows you to work in a leading boutique agency who are passionate about delivering excellence. This position is integral to their finance operations, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, efficient transaction processing, and compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for maintaining organized financial systems.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to and supporting the CFO, this position is a key role in the organisation and requires an organised, motivated and skilled Accounts Officer.
Your key responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:
- Managing all aspects of accounts payable relating to the commercial property portfolio;
- Managing records and data processing;
- Attending to month end reconciliations and reporting;
- Adhering to monthly checklists and procedures;
- Assisting with outgoings management including annual budgeting and reconciliation;
- Adhering to compliance obligations;
- Providing administration support and assistance to the team;
Skills and Experience
As the suitable candidate for this position, you will hold prior relevant and recent experience within accounts administration.
- Demonstrated experience in accounts;
- High level of attention to detail;
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite;
- Ability to be organised and work autonomously;
- Excellent communication & problem solving skills;
- Fantastic teamwork skills.
