About the Role A leading provider of express and on-demand transport solutions is seeking a State Operations Manager to oversee branch operations, drive sales, and manage a high-performing team. You will be responsible for financial performance, client relationships, and business development, ensuring operational excellence and compliance.Key Responsibilities: Operational & Financial Management: Oversee all branch functions, including budgeting, cost-to-serve analysis, and financial reporting. Drive efficiencies while maintaining service quality and profitability. About You: Experience: 3+ years in a leadership role within transport, logistics, or a related industry, with a track record of improving DIFOT and managing cost-to-serve. Sales & Business Development: Strong ability to identify new opportunities, manage tenders, and develop profitable client relationships. Financial & Commercial Acumen: Proven ability to manage budgets, optimize cost-to-serve, and drive revenue growth while maintaining service standards. Leadership & Team Management: Experience in recruiting, training, and mentoring teams, with a focus on performance, collaboration, and motivation. Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM, TMS, and Microsoft Office, with the ability to analyze DIFOT and cost metrics for business improvements.
