We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Import/Export Coordinator to join our team on an initial temporary basis, with an immediate start. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and will require you to handle a variety of export-related tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient dispatch of goods. Key Responsibilities: Export Processing: Coordinate all sales outside of Australia, ensuring seamless communication with internal teams and external shipping companies. Shipping Coordination: Arrange collection and delivery of goods, working closely with the despatch team to meet customer needs. Documentation: Create accurate shipping and export documents for all shipments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Transport Management: Book transport with external providers and monitor any changes to logistics or delivery schedules. Risk Management: Identify potential shipping risks and monitor recovery processes where required. Audit and Compliance: Maintain a comprehensive audit trail for all export transactions and ensure compliance with Australian and international laws regarding import/export procedures. Communication: Proactively communicate any risks or concerns to allow for appropriate recovery planning. Efficiency and Pricing: Ensure all shipments are processed efficiently and that pricing aligns with company policies and sales margins. Payment Terms: Manage payment terms in line with company policies, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing. Team Support: Provide support to the Planner Scheduler and other internal stakeholders when needed.
