About the role: As Engineering & Maintenance Manager, you'll oversee maintenance, lead capital projects, and drive continuous improvement to ensure optimal plant performance. The business is currently investing $15 million in plant optimization, with an annual R&M budget of approximately $5 million. Key Responsibilities: Direct and coordinate projects to design new capital works and improve production techniques. Analyse technology trends and market demand to plan projects effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure engineering feasibility and cost-effectiveness. Oversee physical maintenance and repair of operating site equipment. Implement preventative maintenance programs and propose plant modification for improved efficiency. Champion safety initiatives and contribute to plant safety improvements. The Ideal Candidate: A proven background in engineering, ideally managing a maintenance team. Tertiary qualifications in Engineering Track record of project management, including developing strategies, evaluating and solving complex problems, and budgeting and negotiating.
