About the Position Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer and part of a newly created Growth Team, the Business Development Manager – Decision Support & Critical Infrastructure is responsible for driving strategic sales initiatives and securing new business opportunities to enable our customers to make better, informed decisions. The role focuses on enhancing decision-making capabilities through AI, machine learning, and data-driven solutions primarily within the utilities and transport sectors however this role has scope to grow out. The role will focus on selling bespoke solutions customised to client requirements and outcomes as well as a standardised product/solution set. By identifying and engaging key clients, the successful candidate will develop tailored solutions that enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and security. This role requires expertise in managing business pursuits, leading capture strategies, and working closely with internal teams to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge solutions that address the needs of national security and critical infrastructure stakeholders. About the Person The ideal candidate is a driven professional with a strong background in business development within national security, critical infrastructure, or technology-driven industries. They will have experience leading high-value bids, managing complex sales campaigns, and building relationships with government agencies and private sector partners. A deep understanding of AI, machine learning, and decision support technologies is critical. The candidate must possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work under pressure in high-stakes environments.
