About the Position
Reporting to the Business Development Director – Defence and part of a newly created Growth Team, the Business Development Manager – Cyber will be responsible for leading and driving strategic growth in the cyber security sector. This role will oversee business development initiatives, identify, and capture new market opportunities, and establish strong partnerships within defence, government, and commercial sectors.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in securing key contracts, developing tailored cyber solutions, and positioning the organisation as a trusted industry leader. The role requires a strong ability to manage complex sales campaigns, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with executive leadership to achieve business objectives.
About the Person
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated executive with a proven track record in business development within the cyber security industry. They will have extensive experience in complex sales campaigns, strong knowledge of the Australian defence procurement environment, and the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
A deep understanding of cyber security threats, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements is essential. Additionally, the candidate must possess excellent stakeholder engagement skills, a robust network within defence and government sectors, and the ability to lead high-performing teams.
