About the Position:
As the Business Development Manager for Defence Synthetic Test & Evaluation, you will play a pivotal role in driving Aurizn’s growth in the ST&E domain where it has been operating for over 15 years and is a trusted partner to Defence and Defence primes. You will be responsible for identifying and capturing new business opportunities by leveraging your deep understanding of the Australian Defence Force’s current and planned capabilities. Your role will involve working closely with customers to understand their requirements and developing tailored solutions that address their unique needs.
You will lead the preparation and submission of compelling proposals, manage customer engagements, and collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Infinite Studio Product Team) to ensure successful delivery of projects. Your ability to think strategically and execute effectively will be critical in achieving ambitious growth targets ensuring Aurizn continues as a leader in the ST&E market.
About the Person:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven professional with a passion for defence technology and a proven track record in business development. You should have extensive experience in selling complex defence systems involving hardware and software solutions related to Synthetic Test & Evaluation products to defence forces and industry partners.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner. You will possess a mission first mindset, technical aptitude and intellectual curiosity with a keen eye for identifying market opportunities and developing innovative solutions to meet customer needs.
