About the Position
This position leads a high-performing team to ensure the business has a mature, industry-leading capture capability that maximizes Probability of Win (PWin) on complex Defence opportunities in Mission Enablement, Systems & Engineering. Focusing on Aurizn’s existing Mission Enablement, Systems, and engineering capabilities for Defence and supporting the build out of capability for the future, this role is focused on bringing leading-edge technology to Defence customers (including the ADF and Defence Primes).
You will understand the Australian Defence Force’s current and planned capabilities and systems across the warfighting domains. Your analytical thinking, commercial acumen, and awareness of emerging technologies will support you in identifying gaps and opportunities to improve and enhance those warfighting systems with Aurizn’s mission systems and sustainment solutions.
About the Person
We are seeking an ambitious professional with significant leadership experience in selling complex mission systems including hardware and software solutions to defence forces and industry partners. You should have a strong track record of winning high-value contracts and fostering lasting relationships in the defence sector, possess a mission first mindset and be a structed thinker and problem solver.
The ideal candidate will understand the product development cycle in a highly technical environment and navigate complex sales cycles with stakeholders, including defence force leadership and procurement teams. An ability to manage and negotiate contracts, lead, mentor, and foster a positive organisational culture is essential to your success.
