The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead and inspire their team in a large-scale warehouse operation. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the efficient management of receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching goods while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational KPIs.
- Plan and coordinate daily workflow to ensure accurate and on-time delivery.
- Monitor and improve inventory accuracy, stock rotation, and warehouse layout efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, driving a safety-first culture.
- Conduct performance reviews, training, and mentoring for team members.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including transport and logistics providers.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and cost efficiency.
To excel in this role, you’ll bring:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within an FMCG warehouse environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Proven experience in inventory management, KPI monitoring, and workflow planning.
- A commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
