About the Role: We are seeking an experienced senior Warehouse Manager to join their team in Melbourne's North West. You will be in charge of overseeing a large site and team, help deliver a site upgrade, and implement a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) to support future growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, coach, and develop a team of warehouse and dispatch staff to achieve operational excellence, ensuring best-in-class warehousing practices.
- Cost-Effective Operations: Plan, manage, and execute warehousing and dispatch activities in a cost-effective manner to meet organisational goals and produce quality outcomes.
- Workplace Health & Safety (WHS): Uphold and promote a safety-first culture, ensuring all operations adhere to Workplace Health & Safety regulations, policies, and standards.
- Performance Management: Ensure that all KPIs, including productivity, accuracy, and DIFOT (Delivery In Full On Time), are met or exceeded through effective team supervision and proactive performance management.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the warehousing and dispatch functions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support sustainable growth.
- WMS Implementation: Lead the Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation project, ensuring a smooth transition and optimised system performance.
- Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels to ensure that stock is available for production and dispatch in alignment with forecasted demand, supporting seamless operations.

- Adept in warehouse management systems and driving operational excellence.
- A track record of successfully managing large, complex operations.
