With an international presence and an innovative team – they are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the business based on the Central Coast.
About the Role:
As an Afternoon Shift Maintenance Supervisor, you will be essential in maintaining the smooth operation and reliability of production machinery and equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all mechanical systems function efficiently, enabling the business to produce their delectable desserts without interruption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of trades and fitters on the afternoon shift.
- Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns, minimizing production downtime.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed and parts used.
- Work closely with the production team to identify and implement proactive maintenance strategies.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised work area.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment as required.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Plant maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, food exposure preferred.
- Trade qualifications in relevant trade discipline - mechanical, fitting, and/or electrical.
- Technical capability and understanding of maintenance and reliability in an environment with changing priorities.
