Our client, a market leader in outsourced procurement and consulting is currently working for a Sourcing Manager to work on one of their largest contracts. 

About the role

• Develop & implement category strategies for your assigned categories (mining equipment, drilling services, explosives + more)
• Lead end to end sourcing activities 
• Drive supplier relationship management and give suppliers and A grade experience
• Monitor, analyze and identify market trends to inform strategic sourcing strategies and mitigate risk
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including ELT teams and GMs
• Lead continuous improvement activities

About you

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain or related field
• Experience within mining, energy or infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of mining services & consumables categories
• Proven track record developing and executing strategic sourcing activities
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of contracts & contract law
