About the Role
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of products and services across the state. This includes leading a team of 140+ staff, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy: Drive state operations, aligning with national objectives to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective service delivery.
- Operational Excellence: Manage daily operations, identify and implement operational efficiencies to enhance productivity and service.
- Safety & Compliance: Champion a strong safety culture and ensure all safety protocols are met.
- Financial Performance: Oversee budgeting, P&L, and cost efficiencies to meet financial targets.
- People & Culture: Develop and lead a high-performing team, fostering engagement and development.
- Proven experience in operational leadership within the building materials, industrial manufacturing, or heavy industry sectors.
- Strong P&L management experience and commercial acumen.
- A safety-first mindset with a track record of improving workplace safety and compliance.
- Ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
- Tertiary qualification in business, management, or a related field.
