About The Role
This role oversees inventory management and supply chain operations for heavy industry programs, ensuring the efficient sourcing, delivery, and management of materials to support maintenance schedules. A key focus is driving continuous improvement and best-practice supply chain processes by leveraging technology, optimising logistics, and influencing stakeholders across the organisation. The role involves planning material supply in alignment with operational demands, developing supplier agreements, and ensuring cost-effective, compliant procurement and inventory management.
  
Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, standardising processes across stores, and fostering supplier relationships to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. By harnessing technology and data-driven insights, the role aims to streamline supply chain operations, improve visibility, and drive innovation. Strong stakeholder engagement is essential to embed best-in-class practices across teams, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. Additionally, the role plays a critical part in risk management, lifecycle cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and long-term sustainability.
