About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Learning & Capability Specialist to drive leadership and organisational development initiatives that enhance workforce capability and support our strategic priorities. Reporting to the Manager, Culture & Capability, this role is an opportunity to design and deliver impactful programs that shape the organisation’s culture and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement organisational development initiatives, including leadership development, performance management, and diversity and inclusion strategies.
- Facilitate and deliver virtual and in-person training sessions to diverse audiences.
- Lead organisational improvement initiatives, applying evidence-based methodologies to evaluate and enhance outcomes.
- Design, procure, and deliver engaging development solutions that integrate learning, leadership, and project management methodologies.
- Conduct research, prepare high-level reports, and provide policy recommendations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to influence and drive performance initiatives.
- Develop and manage online training programs using the latest tools and technologies.
- Model inclusive, respectful, and ethical behaviour to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Contribute to workplace safety and well-being.
As a Senior Learning & Capability Specialist, you will be valued for your ability to:
- Deliver successful organisational development programs.
- Demonstrate leadership through Vision, Results, and Accountability in line with the Individual Contributor stream of the Leadership Competencies for Queensland (LC4Q) framework.
We are looking for an experienced professional with:
- Expertise in learning, leadership, and organisational development in a government or similar context.
- Strong facilitation and training delivery skills.
- The ability to manage complex initiatives and influence stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in developing and managing online training modules using modern tools.
- A commitment to cultural capability, inclusion, and ethical conduct.
- Must be an Australian/New Zealand citizen.
