The Role
Reporting to the Head of People Partnering, you will lead the ongoing improvement in how the business manages, monitors, and ultimately controls safety, health and wellbeing risks.

Key responsibilities:
  • Effectively implement a new safety management system (Donesafe).
  • Engage and influence with senior operational leaders and Company Executives.
  • Lead and deliver ongoing improvements in performance, management of key risks, and execution of strategies, plans and improvements programs.
  • Be the technical and subject matter expert for the team to ensure systems, processes, data, and documentation is fit for purpose and meets all requirements.
  • Lead the identification of, and delivery against safety performance indicators across all stores that is aligned to best practice and industry standards.
Skills & Experience:
  • Relevant qualifications and credentials in WHS.
  • Industry experience in customer-focused, fast-paced environments ideally in retail, FMCG, hospitality or related sectors.
  • Strong technical safety, health and wellbeing skills and experience, including systems implementation, reporting, risk and project management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety and Injury Management legislation.
  • Excellent leadership and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented; critical thinking skills; sound judgement; initiative; solution-focus.
