We have partnered with a state government department and looking for a Senior HR Generalist superstar who is looking for their next temporary assignment!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide HR advice directly to leaders and employees, including support for workforce and capability planning, workforce profiling, recruitment and selection processes, HR policy interpretation, employee relations, change management, and learning and development matters.
  • Work in close consultation with all areas of P&C to ensure seamless service delivery and appropriate involvement of specialist HR advisors for complex matters.
  • Workforce and succession planning, assisting leaders and managers to understand their current and future workforce needs and plan accordingly.
  • Performance and development planning, providing advice and support to managers and staff with their planning process and the identification of current and future skill development requirements.
  • Workplace Health, Safety and Rehabilitation, provide advice, early intervention and case management advice and support.
  
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Demonstrates sound governance and maintains high standards in risk management.
  • Have demonstrated experience in a generalist HR role with strong skills in performance management, industrial relations, and case management.
  • Be proficient in building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships, with a reputation as a trusted advisor and business partner.
  • Possess a solid understanding of industrial agreements and the ability to provide advice based on sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Be comfortable working in a large, dynamic environment, with experience in organising and coordinating training activities and events.
  • Must be an Australian/New Zealand citizen.
  
It is highly important for this role that the successful applicant is a team player, is willing to get stuck in and help across all aspects of the team and is able to hit the ground running.
