The Position

As the HR Advisor reporting into the Chief People Officer, you will provide practical and strategic HR support, partnering closely with state and operational leaders to align people practices with business objectives. This role involves a mix of advisory and hands-on responsibilities, covering recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and cultural initiatives.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing expert advice on HR, industrial relations, and employee relations to achieve organisational objectives.
  • Ensuring compliance with Modern Awards, agreements, and HR policies while coaching leaders in best practices.
  • Managing employee performance, misconduct issues, investigations, and grievances effectively.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives to attract and retain top talent.
  • Driving employee engagement programs and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Overseeing remuneration and recognition processes to align with corporate standards.
You’ll collaborate with leaders across the organisation and contribute to the delivery of HR strategies and initiatives that support business growth and operational excellence.

Essential Experience & Skills:
  • Proven experience in HR advisory or business partnering roles with strong knowledge of HR practices.
  • Expertise in workplace relations, including Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage performance issues, grievances, and investigations.
  • Strong business acumen and alignment of HR practices with organisational goals.
  • Excellent coaching, consulting, and communication skills.
  • A customer-focused approach with a commitment to compliance and results.
