They are looking for an experienced Quality Leading Hand to join their Regional Victoria team.
About the role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Leading Hand to oversee quality control processes and ensure all products meet the highest standards. In this role, you will lead a team of quality control inspectors and collaborate with various departments to drive continuous improvement initiatives. If you have strong leadership skills and a passion for maintaining excellence in a processing plant environment, this position is for you.
Your responsibilities will include supervising quality control activities, developing and implementing procedures to meet industry standards, and conducting regular inspections to address any quality issues. You will manage stock assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Skills and experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a QA/Quality Control role within the food production or processing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Relevant qualifications in Food Safety and Quality Systems or similar industry certifications.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
