An established manufacturing business is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to oversee end-to-end operations in their Campbellfield facility, ensuring smooth workflow, quality control, and efficient production processes.

The role requires a balance of hands-on management, problem-solving, and team leadership. With a strong leadership team in place, they are looking for someone trustworthy, flexible, and capable of driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring a smooth assembly process.
- Manage a team of 70, including 10 direct reports.
- Balance production line tempo, addressing bottlenecks and ensuring efficiency.
- Work closely with the Factory Foreman on volume, quality, and workforce management.
- Ensure all vans meet quality standards and are registered for transport
- Maintain consistent production targets while driving improvements in quality
- Occasionally work long hours or weekends as required to meet business demands
- Experience in production management or supervision in relevant manufacturing / industrial environment
- Proven ability to manage large teams and complex workflows
- Experience in quality control and process improvement
- Hands-on and passionate leadership style with excellent problem-solving skills
- Flexibility with working hours, including occasional weekends
- Ability to work effectively with a young and motivated leadership team
