They are seeking a dedicated Site Manager to join their team and lead the site whilst achieving operational goals and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager to oversee all site operations at a regional location based in Victoria’s North West. As Site Manager, you will ensure a safe workplace, manage resources effectively, meet production targets, control costs, and provide excellent customer service. This role also involves supporting and developing site staff, managing inventory, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role will require an unwavering commitment to people, performance and change management.

Key Responsibilities:
Safety: Ensure compliance with OH&S and environmental legislation and company policies. Promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
People Management: Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to staff whilst managing change due to growth and investment.
Operational Excellence: Manage manufacturing processes, inventory, and site budgets.
Growth and Asset Renewal: Manage and deliver the site CAPEX program to enhance site standards and efficiency.

The Ideal Candidate:
Highly developed leadership skills with the ability to engage team members, influence at all levels and manage in line with company policies, standards and procedures.
Proven experience within a food production or industrial manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Lean Principles and experience in planning and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Excellent communication, engagement skills, high attention to detail, efficient problem-solving approach, and willingness to embrace change.
Qualification in Engineering, Science or Food Technology is desired but not essential.
