Organisational Change Manager – Government Transformation Project
The Company
A Queensland Government agency is undergoing a major transformation following a recent MOG change. They seek an experienced Organisational Change Manager to drive change adoption, stakeholder engagement, and business process alignment.
The Role
This hands-on role requires an autonomous professional to develop and execute change strategies, create training and communication materials, and engage stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a structured change management strategy (Prosci/ADKAR).
- Engage stakeholders and manage communication to align with transition goals.
- Conduct Business Change Impact Assessments and tailor responses.
- Create and deliver training materials, workshops, and user guides.
- Establish and lead a Change Champion Network to embed cultural and procedural shifts.
- Identify and mitigate risks to change adoption.
- Monitor and report on progress, adapting strategies as needed.
- Facilitate sessions to guide employees through payroll, ICT, and process changes.
- 5+ years in Change Management, preferably within Queensland Government.
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end change initiatives independently.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influence skills.
- Experience creating training and communication materials from scratch.
- Expertise in Prosci/ADKAR or equivalent frameworks.
- Workshop facilitation, coaching, and hands-on support for transitioning teams.
- Ability to navigate complex, evolving environments.
- Play a key role in a high-impact government transformation.
