Reporting directly into the CEO, this National Sales & Marketing Manager role will ultimately take ownership for the sales and marketing strategy of the business as it looks to take advantage of its market position & continue to drive sales revenue. The role combines strategy formulation with hands-on execution, ensuring you hold key customer relationships as well as taking the sales team on the journey to achieve success.
Duties
- Drive the strategic sales and marketing plan
- Hands-on leadership of national field sales team, internal sales + marketing
- Utilise your relationships with key customers to lead from the front in driving strategy execution
- Identify new market channels & opportunities
- Responsibly for growing sustainable sales revenue
Skills and Experience
- Experience leading a national sales & marketing team
- Proven track record in devising commercial strategy & executing with tangible results
- Hands-on leader with passion to lead teams & also own senior customer relationships; loves to lead from the front & mentor
- Industry experience selling wholesale into retail will be advantageous but not essential
- Experience dealing with Buyers / Procurement will be considered a bonus
