Having built a cult following off the back of classics such as Nutella, and Fresh Jam and Cream, Daniel's Donuts is now rapidly growing its manufacturing, retail and wholesale operations.

And this is where you come in….  Due to the national expansion, Daniel’s Donuts requires an experienced Marketing Manager to come in and work closely with the Head of Marketing to drive Daniel’s growth.

Daniel’s Donuts is in the unique position of being Private Equity backed, but also being able to retain the Founder’s passion and knowledge to assist in the future growth.

This role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth across multiple channels.
  
What’s involved in the day to day?
  
Strategic Marketing Leadership
  • In collaboration with the team, contribute to, and execute the marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Manage the annual marketing budget, optimising spend to achieve maximum ROI.
  • Provide marketing guidance to internal teams and direct reports to increase marketing literacy within the business.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging trends to position Daniel’s Donuts as a market leader.
  • Ensure structured planning and execution of all marketing activities with a focus on efficiency and quality outcomes.
Campaigns, Partnerships & Events:
  • Plan and execute impactful marketing campaigns for product launches, seasonal promotions, and community engagement.
  • Develop and nurture partnerships with influencers, local businesses, and media outlets to amplify brand presence.
  • Organise and manage events, including in-store activities, brand activations, and promotional events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and events.
  • Drive sponsorship and partnership opportunities that align with the brand’s values and goals.
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance campaign creativity, efficiency, and performance. 
Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Utilize analytics to measure campaign performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer behaviour and identify growth opportunities.
  • Implement data-driven strategies to enhance customer acquisition and retention.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with retail, sales, and NPD teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with business objectives.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, fostering relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
Brand Management
  • Ensure consistency of messaging, tone, and design across all marketing channels and materials.
  • Work with external agencies and vendors to create marketing collateral, such as brochures, posters, and digital assets.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives and ensure all external facing material adheres to the brand guidelines and goals.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the food and retail industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with a structured approach to planning and execution.
  • Strong background in brand management and customer engagement strategies.
  • Previous experience leading a small team across social, content, digital & campaigns.
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
  • Experience with AI Tools in Marketing applications (e.g., Midjourney, ChatGPT, Tidio, etc)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Full Australian working rights (essential).
