This is a genuinely exciting, varied and autonomous role within one of Australia’s premium snacking and wholefoods brands, managing accounts spanning across Foodservice Distributors, Petrol & Convenience, Airports and E-Commerce retailers.
Reporting into the National Business Manager, the purpose of this position is to contribute to the ongoing growth of the business by managing State based key customer account activities for specific groups in line with agreed financial targets and supporting the National Business Manager with National Accounts.
Duties
- Implement business development initiatives by driving growth and brand across the key customer account and corporate channels.
- Maintain and grow relationships with new and existing customers by cultivating new business and revenue streams
- Review and evaluate financial performance against business development and key account budget
- Provide input to the annual state sales budget planning process so that financial and business forecasts are consistent with business and market performance and aligned to the brand's strategic growth.
- Partner with the state sales team to ensure that all interactions with customers are effectively managed and provide opportunity to build business growth.
- Bachelor degree in Commerce or Marketing is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in a sales, key account management, business development or business planning role, effectively building the customer base and business growth at an operation level.
- Significant experience in establishing business development and sales plans, co-ordinating budgets, and analysing and interpreting sales data to identify new business improvement opportunities.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with a range of customers and to build sound commercial partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated time management skills, problem solving and decision-making skills.
