With a complex national operation and strong leadership that continues to develop the company's presence across the Tier 1 FMCG landscape, we are seeking an outstanding National Inventory Manager to support the company through this next phase of growth, working cross functionally with the CEO, GM, and State Manager's, to drive best in class Inventory Management Practices and CI projects to facilitate long term, strategic national growth across the business.
  
This role will be based out of Melbourne's South East with flexible work hours.
  
Position Overview:
Reporting to the ANZ GM, we are seeking high performing, analytical and strategic National Inventory Manager to drive operational excellence across a multi-site, National 3PL operation which caters to a diverse portfolio of FMCG customers. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving best in class Inventory Management practices across ANZ, ensuring greater rigour and process, along with optimising customer relationships through enhanced supply chain visibility and DIFOT.
  
As part of the Executive Leadership Team, you will be encouraged to drive National Continuous Improvement Projects that seek to drive positive long term commercial and strategic gains, with a core focus on the control of inventory. Executing on your strategy will be a team of 3 highly engaged Inventory Controllers that are responsible for the end-to-end management and execution of these strategic tasks. You will be a conscientious leader that takes pride in ensuring your team are highly trained, capable, and supported in a safe, accountable, and engaging environment with a strong focus on customer service to both clients and internal stakeholders.
  
Further, as a values driven business, your role will encompasses leadership, culture, safety, people management, and stakeholder relations. Responsibilities include fostering an engaged culture, ensuring safety compliance, modeling appropriate behavior, managing team workload, and implementing continuous improvement. You will uphold OH&S policies, monitor team performance, conduct formal appraisals, and drive effective communication. Measurable outcomes will include strategic plan implementation, timely completion of programs, monthly reviews of storage locations, and corrective actions for identified inventory concerns, ensuring overall business performance improvement.

To be successful in this role you will be a passionate Leader that is adept to driving best Inventory Practices within a high-growth 3PL environment. Technically, you will be a competent Excel user and will have a strong understanding of ERP/WMS/TMS system architecture. You will be a confident and resilient leader that has an appetite to drive best Inventory Practices on a National Scale, and will relish the trust that is being placed upon this role to drive change across the business as it seeks to continuously drive best operational outcomes for its long-standing and growing customer base. You will also be an outstanding communicator who can engage with and influence stakeholders across across all levels, both internally and externally, which in turn will help you deliver outstanding results for the business.
