If you have a strong skillset across contract drafting and negotiating and are excited by the prospect of joining a highly regarded legal team on a contractual basis then this is an opportunity you will need to consider.

In this role you will be involved in:

• Drafting, reviewing and advising upon purchaser provider agreements and other Members’ Choice arrangements
• Providing legal support on operational matters relating to hospital, medical, ancillary and OSHC network providers, including clinical and payment integrity matters
• Assisting the entity to operate in accordance with legislative requirements, regulations and internal policies, and to understand legal risks
• Preparing reviewing and negotiating hospital purchaser provider agreements 
• Developing and maintaining HPPA templates
• Preparing HPPA ancillary agreements as required 
• Preparing, reviewing and negotiating other Members’ Choice agreements and other commercial agreements, as required
• Providing legal support on operational matters relating to hospital, medical, ancillary and OSHC network providers, including clinical, payment integrity and strategic matters.

To be considered for this role you will be Australian qualified and have at least 4 years PQE. You will have strong contract drafting & negotiation skills. You will also have excellent analytical skills and good commercial nous. The ability to engage with and build relationships with stakeholders is paramount. An exposure to working within health would be beneficial but not a prerequisite.
