The Role
As the first dedicated HR professional within the business, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing HR policies and procedures that support the company’s growth and compliance requirements. This standalone, strategic, and operational role requires someone with the ability to balance hands-on HR tasks with the development of long-term workforce strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices from scratch
- Provide employee relations guidance and ensure compliance with employment laws and workplace regulations
- Develop and oversee performance management frameworks and training programs
- Partner with leadership to drive employee engagement and positive workplace culture
- Manage HR administration, including contracts, compliance, and reporting
- Previous HR experience in the manufacturing industry (essential)
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, compliance, and HR best practices
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR processes from the ground up
- Hands-on experience in workforce planning and employee relations
- A confident communicator with the ability to partner with senior stakeholders
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a standalone role
