This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the organisation's success by offering hands-on support and expert advice across a broad range of HR and employee relations areas. You will be partnering with key stakeholders, guiding leaders, and ensuring the efficient implementation of HR strategies that align with the business’s goals.

About the Role:
As an HR Advisor you will provide operational and tactical HR support, working closely with state and operational leaders. You will contribute to the business’s strategic objectives by guiding and supporting leaders in various HR functions including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and change management.
Your role will include:
  • Providing HR, industrial, and employee relations advice to support business objectives.
  • Ensuring compliance with awards, agreements and policies while coaching leaders on effective HR practices.
  • Handling employee performance and misconduct management, investigations, and grievances.
  • Supporting recruitment efforts, talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies.
  • Contributing to the development of employee engagement initiatives and fostering a positive company culture.
  • Managing remuneration and recognition processes in line with corporate policies.
  
You will collaborate with leaders across different departments and be part of the HR team to execute business plans, initiatives, and objectives, ensuring a high level of service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer expert advice on HR policies, employee relations, and compliance with awards and agreements.
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders, supporting them in achieving their people strategies.
  • Lead performance management, misconduct, and grievance resolution.
  • Play an active role in workforce planning, recruitment, and talent management.
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and the development of a positive work culture.
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources and employee relations, with experience in coaching and advising leadership teams. You’ll need to be proactive, approachable, and able to manage multiple priorities. Your excellent communication and influencing skills will allow you to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Experience & Skills:
  • Solid experience in HR advisory or HR business partner roles, with a deep understanding of HR best practices.
  • Expertise in workplace relations, including Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
  • Proven ability to manage performance issues, grievances, and misconduct cases.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align HR practices with organisational goals.
  • Excellent coaching, consulting, and communication skills.
  • Strong customer focus and a commitment to results and compliance.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Experience in a similar HR advisory or HR business partner role.
