About the Position
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the General Manager - Operations will oversee the organisation’s client-facing services and specialised training programs. This includes delivering high-quality, integrated services to clients while ensuring the organisation’s resources are utilised efficiently. A key focus of the role will be maintaining high levels of customer service during a period of growth and organisational change. Working closely with the CEO, the General Manager will contribute to strengthening financial sustainability and enhancing organisational capability.
This is a newly created position resulting from the merger of two departments, making it an exciting opportunity to shape and influence service delivery and operational outcomes.
About the Person
We are seeking a highly experienced operational leader with a proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams, ideally in the disability, human services or strong customer focused sectors. Success in this role will require the ability to drive customer service excellence during a time of growth and transition, as well as strong leadership in implementing significant projects or changes in operating models.
The ideal candidate will thrive in navigating ambiguity and uncertainty, demonstrating a coaching and mentoring leadership style that fosters collaboration and cohesion. While not essential, a background in allied health and/or customer focused environments will be highly regarded.
