The Role
As a Fleet Controller, you’ll play a critical role in overseeing the daily management of our fleet and drivers, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods and services. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the scheduling and dispatch of drivers and vehicles.
- Monitor fleet performance to ensure deliveries are completed on time and within budget.
- Liaise with drivers, clients, and stakeholders to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Oversee compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and Fatigue Management regulations.
- Track and report on key metrics such as DIFOT (Delivered in Full, On Time) and fleet utilization.
- Manage vehicle maintenance schedules to ensure safety and compliance standards are met.
- Provide operational support during peak periods, including driver and load allocation.
- Collaborate with warehouse, transport, and customer service teams to maintain service excellence.
- Proven experience in fleet coordination, transport scheduling, or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of CoR, Fatigue Management, and relevant compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in logistics management systems and tools.
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
