As the Fleet Coordinator, you will be responsible for the administration, compliance, and operational efficiency of a fleet of approximately 2,000 vehicles. Working closely with internal stakeholders and third-party providers, you will ensure compliance with regulations, improve driver behaviour, and identify opportunities for cost and efficiency improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee fleet compliance, including vehicle registrations, insurance, and driver adherence to policies
- Monitor fuel usage, infringement rates, and fleet efficiency to drive cost-effective solutions
- Act as the central point of contact for all fleet-related queries, escalations, and issues
- Support safer driving initiatives, compliance programs, and risk mitigation strategies
- Conduct fleet audits, reconciliations, and reporting to ensure data accuracy and operational transparency
- Work with third-party providers to manage fleet procurement, maintenance, and disposal processes
- Drive the implementation of fleet technology innovations to improve efficiency and reporting
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in fleet coordination, transport operations, or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of fleet compliance, driver safety regulations, and cost control measures
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to influence positive outcomes
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with a focus on reporting and analytics
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in change management and process improvement is highly regarded
