This is an ideal role for an experienced Finance Manager with a background in manufacturing, warehousing, or inventory-focused environments. In this role, you’ll be responsible for end-to-end finance operations, from budgeting and financial planning to cost management and inventory analysis. As a true business partner, you’ll collaborate across departments, providing critical financial insights that will directly impact the company’s strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations & Inventory Management: Lead financial controls and cost analysis for warehousing and manufacturing functions, enhancing inventory accuracy, and managing operational costs.
- Business Partnering: Engage with operations to support data-driven decision-making. Offer insights and recommendations that align with company growth goals and enhance financial performance.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis, using financial insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and guide the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring the successful implementation of ERP and financial systems.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, with CPA or CA qualifications highly regarded.
- Proven experience in manufacturing or warehousing environments, with expertise in operations accounting and cost control.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably MYOB Advance) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to present financial data and recommendations to senior management.
