An exciting opporutnity for an experienced Finance Manager on an immediate notice has arisen within the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of financial accounting and corporate reporting and to provide insights and analysis to key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the monthly ledger close process and related reporting, including the consolidation packages.
- Support semi-annual and annual audits by addressing auditor queries and ensuring audits progress within specified timeframes.
- Manage the preparation and submission of half-year and annual statutory financial statements.
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of half-year entity reporting.
- Manage bi-annual external reporting for borrowings, ensuring covenant compliance.
- Ensure financial governance through the review of key balance sheet reconciliations.
- Provide expertise on technical accounting matters and the implementation of new accounting standards.
- Oversee financial analysis for fixed assets.
- Support capital investment processes by delivering financial analysis of proposed investments and reviewing business cases.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Undertake additional duties aligned with your skills and responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Experience in Accounting and Finance Analyst roles - Ideally from a bigger business having gained hands on experience.
- Experience in Financial reporting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
