About the Role

The Document Management Lead provides strategic and operational guidance on information and document management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. This role is responsible for managing and enhancing the Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS), driving improvements in document control, and strengthening information governance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, maintain, and enhance the EDRMS to improve efficiency
  • Develop and implement information management policies and best practices
  • Lead integrations between ELO and Microsoft platforms
  • Provide training to employees on proper information handling and retention
  • Ensure alignment with National Archives of Australia (NAA) standards
  • Oversee document control, including retention, disposal, security classification, and version control
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance and security
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote efficient and compliant information management
Skills & Experience
  • Expert knowledge of information and records management principles
  • Experience managing an EDRMS in a corporate or government setting
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, including NAA standards and retention policies
  • Technical expertise in ELO and Microsoft integrations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
