Sharp and Carter Brisbane are partnering with a leading law firm in the CBD to recruit a Desktop Support Analyst for a 3 month temporary contract.
- 3 Month contract - Possibility for extension or permanent employment

About the Role As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical assistance, resolving IT issues, and supporting our organisation’s technology infrastructure. You will be the first point of contact for technical support, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide proactive IT support and resolve logged tickets in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software.
- Identify and resolve technical problems with software applications and network systems.
- Manage and support the organisation’s mobile phone fleet and technology loan equipment.
- Ensure all incidents are accurately recorded and regularly updated with progress.
- Provide end-user training and guidance on IT systems when required.
- Assist in managing multifunction printing devices and escalating service calls as needed.
- Maintain IT asset records and assist in audits and procurement.
- Work closely with the National Help Desk and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external vendors.
- Support video conferencing (VC) and audio-visual (AV) technologies as needed.
- Strong customer focus with a proactive approach to IT support.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to perform out-of-hours work when required.
