About the role

An exceptional opportunity has become available for an experienced Customer Service Manager to join a market leading organisation based in Western Sydney. This company has grown from its family roots to become a true Australian success story.
  
This role will see you working in a fast-paced and thriving culture offering you a challenging yet rewarding opportunity. As a key and influential leader within this business, you will lead, coach and develop a team of 5 Customer Service Officers and enhance operational efficiency through continuous process improvements.
Your leadership will directly impact overall customer satisfaction whilst aligning internal goals and ensure a high performing team.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:
  • Lead, mentor and coach the customer service team of 5
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and ongoing development plans
  • Lead from the front at all times whilst being a constant escalation point as needed for complex issues
  • Investigate and resolve escalated complaints in a timely manner
  • Develop processes to reduce escalations and uplift immediate resolutions
  • Generate monthly reports around performance, highly key trends and focus points
  • Ensure compliance across internal policies, procedures and agreements

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will present with stable experience in a similar leadership position. You will be able to see where your immediate focus needs to be whilst developing and supporting a growing team. In addition, the successful candidate will have:
  • Strong people management skills with a track record of coaching and developing high performing teams
  • Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • A keen eye to improve processes and ensure efficiency
  • Outstanding communication skills – both verbal and written
