An open opportunity for an enthusiastic and diligent Assistant Accountant to join a rapidly growing business. This role is responsible for assisting in the management of the finances within the organisations. This role is best suited to someone who has strong end-to-end accounts payable experience and is looking to progress in their career with a specific interest in budgeting and forecasting. This is a genuine temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Process AP invoices and staff expense claims
- Assist the reconciliation of all transactions issued for projects /overheads / staff in our bank accounts
- Process and reconcile all transactions paid by credit card / debit card
- Assist in the implementation of new AP automation software
- Monitor aging debt, prepare and present reports to relevant parties so any outstanding payments can be reconciled and cleaned up
- Stakeholder and vendor management (both internal and external)
- 3 + years experiencing in end to end accounts payable in a fast-paced environment Continue
- Strong experience resolving/answering queries relating to purchasing, vendor management and AP reconciliation
- Commenced or looking to commence CA/CPA studies
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Intermediate excel skills
