Our client is an established and reputable Australian organisation, with a strong presence in the FMCG logistics market. Our client is eager to provide mentorship and development to a motivated Assistant Accountant, with a solid progression pathway. 

Reporting directly into the Financial Controller, this role will gain exposure across financial and treasury accounting. Your responsibilities will include:

Month End duties 
- Posting journal entries
- Performing Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Updating the General Ledger
- Working collaboratively on ad-hoc reporting tasks as requested by the Senior Accountants and Financial Controller

Treasury duties
- Complete multi-currency and multi-entity cashflow management and reporting across all entities – Daily, monthly and rolling. 
- Foreign Currency payments and use of forward FX contracts. 
- Update Cashflow and perform bank/balance sheet reconciliations, with intercompany transfers. 

To be considered in your application, you be degree qualified and pursuing your CA or CPA. You will have 2 years experience in a similar role, ideally with exposure to treasury accounting.  You will possess excellent written and verbal communication, as your ability to engage with internal stakeholders will be pivotal to your success.
