Due to a period of growth and transformation, they are seeking a skilled and hands-on Payroll Manager to join the team on a part-time, 6-month fixed-term contract.Position Description The Payroll Manager is a key member of the People, Culture team and is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate payment for all employees in Australia as well as an outsourced payroll for the USA. This role is supported by a Payroll Officer and works closely with the Finance team.• Fortnightly payroll for 150 employees using ADP Payline• Relationship management with payroll vendors and third parties• Manage the design and implementation of any new payroll features and requirements• Ensure minimum Modern Award standards are met for small workforce of employees who require annual Award pay reconciliations and shiftwork penalties application.• Involvement in key projects in the People, Culture team including employee change programs, HR systems improvements and overall people experience processes and annual cyclical activities including remuneration reviews.• Preparation of workers compensation returns, payroll tax returns, superannuation administration and compliance related activities.• Liaising with internal and external auditors on an annual basis to ensure audit expectations are met and aligned within fortnightly pay processes and changes. • Creation of management reports and analytics based on payroll and HR data including position management, leave liabilities and general employee demographics.• Resolving and answering complex payroll queries relating to employees, leaders or people change programsCandidate ProfileThe successful applicant will have proven payroll experience in a similar role, along with the following skills and attributes:• Minimum 4 years payroll experience• Understanding of payroll compliance• Comprehensive knowledge of Modern Awards and other state and industry legislation• Knowledge of general payroll practices, procedures, operations and legislation• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracyHow to ApplyTo apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
