The Position 

As the Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will provide recruitment-related services, advice and guidance to internal clients and provide administrative support and coordination for the end-to-end recruitment process. You will work as part of a small team to deliver high-quality recruitment services with a focus on internal client support and candidate care.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Support and guide hiring managers and panels with effective talent acquisition advice including attraction strategies, shortlisting methodologies, and candidate assessment techniques;
  • Deliver end-to-end recruitment services with a focus on documentation quality and process compliance including assisting hiring managers in drafting selection reports, coordinating references and other pre-employment checks;
  • Build hiring manager and panel capability through timely advice, training and ongoing support;
  • Liaise between business areas and the recruitment team to enable positive outcomes of streamlined recruitment processes and improved time-to-hire performance;
  • Liaise with new starters during the onboarding process to ensure a seamless process and positive onboarding experience;
  • Contribute to the development, review and implementation of recruitment policy, practices, fact sheets and guidelines.
Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering recruitment services for and with internal customers in a public sector environment including writing and quality assurance of selection reports, developing selection matrix and interview questions, facilitating reference and other pre-employment checks;
  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills to achieve set tasks within allocated timeframes;
  • Participate as an effective team member and work collaboratively to ensure work tasks are completed;
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and ensure accuracy in an often high-volume administrative environment;
  • Effective interpersonal skills as evidenced by the ability to build successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ability to set and manage internal customer expectations.
