Position Overview: As the State Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all transport operations within the state. With a strong background in account management, you will be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, optimising operational efficiency, and leading a high-performing team. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of the 3PL industry, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all state-level transport operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operational efficiency and achieve business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Oversee account management activities, including contract negotiations, client communication, and service delivery.
  • Monitor and analyse operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure financial performance targets are met, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with other state managers and senior leadership to drive company-wide initiatives and share best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the 3PL transport industry.
  • Strong background in account management, with a track record of successfully managing key client relationships.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
